Anti-corruption Training at DRC HQ
In the beginning of October Danish Red Cross and Finance Delegate Maja Gram opened the doors to the premier on “Anti-corruption School” for Nordic Red Cross Societies. 10 persons from Norway, Sweden and Denmark gathered in Dunant and switched of phones and computer to focus on becoming anti-corruption trainers.
In Danish Red Cross we have over years focused on anti-corruption and we all have followed the online training (if not go to fednet and find “101 Corruption prevention Anti-corruption training”). We have position paper, complaints system and guidelines to avoid corruption.
Anti-corruption training is a bit like first aid trainings, when you don’t give heart massage every day you need to refresher you skills and get introduction to the newest methods every now and then.
The training in Copenhagen resulted in that we now have 10 anti-corruption trainers ready to discuss/refresh/facilitate the complex topics around corruption and anti-corruption around the world - from district chapter in Northern Norway to National Societies in Africa.
