Red Cross in Denmark

The core of the work in Red Cross in Denmark is to help people in distress and soothe human pain, where ever it might take place. In Denmark 20.000 volunteers work on making a difference for lonely and poor people.

More than 7.000 lonely people in Denmark are being visited on a regular basis by Red Cross volunteers. We celebrate Christmas for people without a social network, summer camps for vulnerable children and we take more initiatives to help fugitives and immigrants in getting integrated into the society. This is only to list some of the activities we have.
