About Red Cross
Red Cross is the world’s largest humanitarian organisation. We help in the everyday and during catastrophes. From a first aid kit in the back of the car to wars on the other side of the world.
More than 13 million volunteers constitute the core of Red Cross. In Denmark alone, we are more than 20.000 volunteers.
Red Cross has through the 150 year old history build on the same idea. We help people in distress without looking at nationality, ethnicity or religion.
We are a neutral and impartial organisation, but we have attitude and speak on behalf of the vulnerable.
Almost 200.000 Danish people are supportive of our work. Some donate monthly. Others support us with an amount when the catastrophe strikes. We ensure that your money is being spent wisely, where they benefit the most.
